Graphic design, motion graphics & animation

Design for a
crowded room.

Blue Pony started more than twenty years ago designing trade show booths: big, bold displays built to pull people in from a packed convention floor. You don’t get a second chance there, so every visual choice has to earn its place. We still work that way, whether the piece is a logo, a package, or a floor-to-ceiling LED wall.

The floor  A booth, and the aisle in front of it

A clear, well-built display pulls people out of the aisle. They line up, take it in, and move on.

Graphic design

Clean, intentional, and built for the people who’ll see it.

The lesson from the booth still holds: every visual choice matters. We’ve designed for manufacturers like Apollo MFG, built visual identities for law firms like TCRJ Law, and produced work that shows up everywhere from product packaging to digital screens. Whatever the format, the design is built around what actually works for your audience.

Every good layout has a structure underneath it.

Logos & visual identity

Marks, systems, guidelines

A mark and the system around it: color, type, and the rules that keep it consistent everywhere it appears.

Branded materials

Sales sheets, decks, signage

The everyday pieces that make a company look like itself, from presentations and sales sheets to signage and stationery.

Print & packaging

Brochures, catalogs, labels

Brochures, catalogs, labels, and boxes, designed with the press and the store shelf in mind.

Trade show & large format

Where we started

Booths, banners, and large-format graphics built to be read from across a crowded room in the few seconds you get.

Screens & digital

Web, social, signage

Graphics for websites, social, digital signage, and presentations, sized and checked for every screen they’ll play on.

If you know it needs to look right but aren’t sure what it is, bring it to us. Working that out is part of the job.

Motion graphics

Some ideas are easier to show than to say.

Motion graphics explain complex subjects in ways words alone can’t: a process, a product, a system with moving parts. Every piece we make goes through the same five passes over the same frame. Pick a pass to see what it adds.

Where motion graphics go

  • Explainer videos
  • Product demos
  • Trade show loops
  • Digital signage
  • Social video
  • Presentations

What we build them in

Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for design, After Effects for animation, and Blender when the piece needs 3D.

Animation

Where design comes to life.

Animation is seeing an identity move and tell a story. It gives a brand personality and helps a message stick. It takes patience and a real understanding of the story, so we don’t rush it.

Stories people remember

Pieces that carry a viewer from beginning to end, whether they play on a phone or a floor-to-ceiling wall.

Brands that move

Logos, identities, and brand elements animated so they move the way the brand sounds.

Polish for projects that need more

Animation that finishes a piece and gives it the life a still version can’t.

Featured project · Indianapolis airport

Two Hoosier legends, floor to ceiling.

The goal wasn’t to put old photos on a screen. It was to introduce jazz guitarist Wes Montgomery and composer Cole Porter to a new generation of travelers from around the world.

The Legacy of Cole Porter, highlight reel · 1:12

  1. Research
Months spent learning the lives of both men before a single frame was drawn.
  2. Storyboarding
Each life shaped into a story a traveler could follow in passing.
  3. Animation
The biographies animated scene by scene.
  4. Floor-to-ceiling LED walls
The finished pieces play on LED walls inside the airport.
  5. A permanent home
Both stories live on at INDlegends.com.

Bring us the thing you can’t quite name yet.

A logo, a booth, a two-minute explainer, or a story that deserves a wall of its own. Tell us what you’re working on and we’ll tell you honestly how we’d approach it.
